How much is the deposit and when is the next payment due? The deposit is usually $1,000.00 and is non-refundable. Your payment information is located on the second page of your contract. The next payment is typically due four months from the day you signed your contract, and then again four months from that date.

How do I make payments? Payments can be made in either cash or check. We do not accept credit cards. Your final payment can be made by either cash or certified/bank check only.

When do I choose my menu, and linen colors? We try to have you choose most of these items at the tasting. Anything left undecided will be discussed 4-6 weeks before the date of your wedding.

What about discounts? Discounts are given after you have met your adult minimum. Children 5-12 years old are ½ price. Children 4 and younger are free. Professionals are $10.00 less than adult price.

When is my final head count due? Your head count is due 10 days prior to the day of your wedding. You should also know the break down of your count, that way we can give you an accurate final bill. Remember you must call with your totals before you come in.

When do I bring in my favors, toasting glasses, place cards etc…? Your floor plan, favors, place cards and other collectibles should come in 5 days prior. They should be labeled with the bride’s name and date of the wedding. Your place cards should be in alphabetical order by last name. Any special instructions should also be noted. All extra favors, wedding gifts and flowers should be brought home the evening of the wedding unless prior arrangements have been made.

What about tastings? Tastings are done individually and on specific dates. An email will be sent to you with directions on how to schedule you tasting, as well as the tasting schedule. 6 people are able to attend at no charge. Each additional person will then be $60. Please speak with your wedding coordinator for more details.

What about a cake tasting? 2-3 months prior to your wedding date, you will contact The Pastry Garden to schedule your cake tasting. The Pastry Garden is located at 2600 South Road Poughkeepsie, NY; 914-473-5220;www.thepastrygarden.com. Make sure to bring photos, a swatch of your dress colors, etc. To help them design your dream cake.

Can I have a ceremony rehearsal? You can rehearse your ceremony at WHCC. You may book your rehearsal time and date one month prior to your actual wedding date. Ask your wedding coordinator for details.

Where will the ceremony take place if it rains? The ceremony will take place in the reception portion of the Grand Outdoor Ballroom.

Do you serve shots? Unfortunately, we have a NO shot policy. Due to safe alcohol service, we are not permitted to serve shots on the bar, at anytime.

Are there any hotels in the area? Yes. There are several hotels in the area, but there is one that we are directly affiliated with – The Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham. Please call hotels directly to block off rooms.
