NY State COVID-19 Guidelines

As Of 5/3/2021

The following information is based on Gov. Cuomo’s public announcement on 5/3/2021.

What is Elective Testing?

Social Distancing requirements may be removed for events if every attendee provides a negative diagnostic test result or proof of immunization. You must notify your venue 3 weeks in advance.

GUIDELINE EXPLANATION

In New York beginning May 10, the outdoor social gathering limit will increase from 200 to 500 people. Beginning May 19, the indoor social gathering limit will increase from 100 to 250 people. Any event gatherings in excess of the social gathering limits may only occur if all individuals present proof of full vaccination status or recent negative COVID-19 test result.

  • All attendees must practice social distancing by maintaining a distance of, at least, six feet from other individuals, except for members of the same immediate party/household/family.
  • Bonura Hospitality has developed our own custom signage consistent with CDC & DOH COVID-19 signage.
  • The only time social distancing may be removed is when an event is outdoor and every guest provides proof of negative test or proof of vaccination. (See what is required when negative testing or proof of vaccination are necessary below.)
  • NY State mandates guests to wear face coverings when not seated at a table as long as the guest is over the age of two and able to medically tolerate such covering. We will STRICTLY enforce this guideline.
  • Face coverings may be removed while guests are seated at their table and outdoors. When under a fixed structure, masks must be worn.
  • Bonura Hospitality has developed our own custom signage consistent with CDC & DOH COVID-19 signage.

Bonura Hospitality will be collecting the above information on the day of the event, at a check-in station prior to the event start time.

Any attendee who fails to present a negative diagnostic test result or proof of immunization, as described above, must be denied entry to the event.
